Developing, implementing and executing HSE annual objective and improvement plans;
Developing appropriate strategies for implementing new or revised policies and regulations;
Leading the implementation and management of site ISO 14001 Environmental Management System;
Identifying the sites HSE training needs, developing resources, and executing training sessions for employees and management staff;
Conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions;
Maintaining HSE records including OSHA 300 log, incident records, safety metrics, training, inspections, permits, etc.
Education: 4-year degree required.
Required Skills:
2
years of Health, Safety & Environmental experience in a manufacturing setting;
Food industry experience is desired;
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations including OSHA, EPA, and local requirements;
Knowledge and experience with relevant consensus standards such as NFPA and ANSI, and systems such as ISO 14001;
Strong project management skills;
Excellent organizational, communication and computer skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
