Oversee a team of frontline employees responsible for operating and maintaining high speed bottling equipment;
Manage relationships with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and the Warehouse to maximize efficiencies and achievement of targets;
Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements;
Review daily achievement of targets and report variances during the on-the-floor and review meetings;
Use continuous improvement methodologies and projects to improve and streamline production;
Oversee the proper training of new hires and seasonal staff.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required
REQUIRED SKILLS:
4
years of experience in a unionized manufacturing environment;
2
years of experience in a supervisory/coaching capacity;
TPM experience;
Solid understanding of production processes and mechanics of line equipment;
Consumer products, CPG, food processing, pharmaceutical experience is a plus;
Willing and able to work flex shifts and weekend rotations;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
