All positions will provide excellent customer service and foster a welcoming environment for students, employees, and other community members.
Available opportunities and corresponding general responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following.
Assistant, Business Office Maintain record keeping of cash accounts activity and communicate regularly with other Business Office staff regarding related account balances, wire transactions, reporting, and discrepancy resolution Reconcile checking accounts upon receipt of monthly bank statements Process employee travel reimbursements in the accounts payable system Provide administrative support to Business Office staff in the creation of College financial documents and reports Assist with documentation of operations procedures Program Assistant, Executive Office Provide extensive, detail-oriented administrative support to the Vice Presidents/Executive Office, including typing, filing, copying, scanning, data entry, proofreading, sorting and distributing mail, and other support tasks Maintain emphasis on providing excellent service and exhibiting professionalism and discretion as duties and responsibilities are fulfilled, especially in light of extensive contact with community leaders, the public, Board of Trustees, and various departments across the College Manage the confidential scheduling of appointments, meetings, and professional travel for the Vice Presidents/Executive Office as requested, initiating proposed changes and proactively resolving scheduling conflicts as appropriate Provide telephone and public reception and coverage of the front desk Prepare purchase requisitions and vouchers Assist with budget management Plan and coordinate special events for the Executive Office, including those requiring non-routine work hours (facility scheduling, catering arrangements, room configuration, serving as host, etc.
) Manage the efficient and confidential flow of forms and paperwork routed to and within the Executive Office using both paper and electronic systems Program Assistant, Human Resources Collaborate with HR colleagues to support and carry out various HR processes, including talent acquisition and employee lifecycle functions Assist employees, prospective employees, and other individuals in obtaining and completing appropriate HR forms and documents Prepare, distribute, and receive new employee packets and related paperwork and respond to related questions; follow-up with employees and supervisors to ensure timely completion of necessary paperwork Assist with assigning, tracking, and completion follow-up for employee onboarding courses, compliance trainings, and performance evaluations Provide telephone and public reception Prepare purchase requisitions and vouchers Program Assistant, Risk Management and Public Safety Maintain a well-structured records system, including maintenance of staff training records, incident reports, daily crime log, security test records, statutorily required annual reports/data, etc.
Enter, review, and extract data into systems to support needs of department administrators Provide telephone and public reception Prepare purchase requisitions and vouchers Assist with budget management Requirements Associate degree or appropriate experience/education Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work effectively and inclusively within a diverse campus community, including with students, employees, and external community members Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to problem-solve, work independently, and function professionally under pressure Proficiency/familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook Desired Qualifications Professional office support experience Applications submitted by November 10, 2023 will receive priority consideration, with review of applications continuing as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
