Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector will work in a manufacturing environment supporting the quality function.
The position entails verifying, testing, and inspecting materials to ensure quality standards are met.
The role is essential to providing overall quality to the client's products.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Follow established procedures and quality guidelines Compare physical components, materials, and products to ensure technical specifications are met Perform full range of various sorting and inspection tasks including visual and touch point inspections or responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned equipment Conduct quality control tests Rework as needed Record results and prepare quality reports Team structure Essential Job Requirements:
Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance to the company safety policy Ability to be trained to use various inspection tools and measuring equipment as required Provide general plant, area, production line and facility clean up (5S) Provide accurate and complete information for all paperwork Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Experience and/or Training:
1-4 years in an industrial manufacturing and Previous QC experience is preferred.
Must have a history of being dependable and reliable.
Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills.
